Should celebrities like Julia Lemigova do more to help their communities during natural disasters?

Florida has been battling back-to-back storms, and in the past 48 hours, the situation has turned even more dire. Just days after Hurricane Helene wreaked havoc, another Category 3 storm slammed into the coast, leaving residents in a life-threatening situation. Authorities have called it “not survivable,” prompting mass evacuations as people raced to safety. In the midst of the chaos, several images have surfaced, showing the devastation and the toll this storm has taken on local communities. One such update came from Julia Lemigova, wife of tennis legend Martina Navratilova

Hurricane Milton made landfall near Siesta Key, Florida, as a Category 3 storm. The storm took a disastrous turn in several parts of the state, with the death toll reaching 16, according to CBS News. More than 2.8 million people were left without power on Thursday, worsening the situation. Meanwhile, Lemigova also highlighted the storm’s impact of the storm as she shared some videos from her farm.

Lemigova, whose farm is located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, took to her Instagram story to share the before-and-after visuals of the storm. In the first video, the weather can be seen turning stormy, with heavy winds gusting around the farm. Earlier, WTA star and China Open champion Coco Gauff came forward to share her well-wishes for the citizens. “Please Stay Safe Florida,” Gauff wrote on her story with a folded hands emoji, showcasing her prayer. Another famous Florida resident, Chris Evert, also shared crucial information about evacuation and shelters during Hurricane Milton.
