Love is ubiquitous. It is all around and everyone experiences it, in one way or another. Sports professionals are no different. Many tennis players had a great love life before they ended up marrying their significant other. Roger Federer and his wife Mirka Federer are one example of that. Another person who is famous for a great love life is Martina Navratilova, a Czech-American tennis legend. Navratilova’s wife recently posted a picture on Instagram that reminded everyone of her Paris modeling days.
Navratilova first came out as Bisexual, shortly after becoming an American citizen. Her first relationship was with Rita Mae Brown, the American feminist writer. Later, Navratilova re-identified herself as a Lesbian. Then in 1984, Navratilova and Judy Nelson, an American author, began a relationship that lasted till 1991.

Julia Lemigova was uncomfortable expressing love to her partner publically
Martina Navratilova had been an openly lesbian woman since the 1980s. She had to go through a long period of adjustment before showing any public display of affection for her partners back then because times were tough for an LGBTQ+ person. Meanwhile, Lemigova wasn’t comfortable expressing her love to the Czech-American tennis legend publically as much as the latter.
