One of the cast members of Real Housewives of Miami suffered a big loss today. Dr. Nicole Martin, who has been on the show for quite some time, now announced that her dad had passed away. The death has been attributed to be very sudden. One of the friends that Dr. Nicole has on the set and in real life is Martina Navratilova’s wife, Julia Lemigova. And during this tough time, she made sure to be there for her friend by mourning the loss and paying her respect for the departed soul.

Dr. Martin took to Instagram to make the saddening revelation and quite clearly, her father’s passing was a bitter pill to swallow. However, Lemigova did her best to ensure that her RHOM co-star wasn’t all alone in this harrowing moment.

Dr. Nicole Martin and Martina Navratilova’s wife Julia Lemigova have been a part of the Real Housewives of Miami for a long time now. Being on the show has certainly brought them closer and made them friends outside the show as well.

This is the reason why when Martin posted a picture of herself with her father after the loss, Lemigova made sure to send her condolences. Nicole Martin posted a few pictures on her official Instagram page and wrote a heartfelt note for him as well. Dr. Martin wrote, “I haven’t been able to find the words and still can’t”. She added, “So many things left unsaid and things we didn’t share”. Dr. Martin ended her note saying, “Rest in peace dad. Love you.”

Lemigova made sure to react to the post as she posted a few sad and mourning emojis on her post. She also made sure to add an Instagram story for her father on her Instagram page. She captioned her story, “To the good times. May he rest in happiness and peace.” She even tagged Martin in the story. Their friendship actually goes a long way back.

Despite Martin’s heartfelt note, things weren’t always smooth sailing between her and her father. In RHOM, Martin herself opened up on the tensions in the relationship she shared with her father. According to Martin, this helped her address several underlying issues in the relationship.

A few days ago, Martin credited the show for bridging the divide and bringing her closer to her father. She said, “Had it not been for the show, I think I would have swept all those feelings under the rug and never addressed them”. In the days leading up to her father’s demise, the relationship had greatly improved, and it’s a pity that her father didn’t live longer for the relationship to blossom even more.
