After evolving from the sport, both Tennis legends are having an amazing time with their respective families. Recently, the 59-time Grand Slam champion, Navratilova, took to her social media account, to share a picture of a pet dog that won Chris Evert’s heart.

Chris Evert adores the pet dog of Martina Navratilova

Navratilova’s love for dogs is not a secret. Over the years, the tennis star has had many pet dogs, and she has adored them openly in public sharing and affection towards animals. The American tennis star took to her Twitter to share a picture of her dog, Lulu, sleeping over an open backpack. She captioned the picture as, “Lulu, making sure I don’t forget to take her with me:)” 

The former tennis player is ready for her next trip and Lulu wants to accompany her just the way she did at the US open this year. However, what grabbed the fans’ attention was her past rival and now a dear friend, Chris Evert’s adorable comment over the picture. She commented on the picture by saying, “Sweet Lulu,” with a heart emoji added along with it.

After having rivalry for so many years, the tennis Legends, a good friend of the tennis court and are often seen sitting together behind the mic and sharing their perspective on the game. Navratilova, and Chris Evert, both have won 18 Grand Slam titles in singles. They have faced each other more than 80 times during their time.

Lulu accompanies her mother Navratilova to the US Open

Earlier this year she took her pet dog, Lulu, with her to the US Open the dog was seen sitting quietly and watching the tournament along with the 59-time Grand Slam champion watching the match peacefully.

Navratilova took the opportunity to introduce the endearing pet to everyone. This was not the first time the tennis star took her pet with her. Lulu is often seen accompanying the former world number one to work trips. Additionally, at the beginning of the year, she also had a little cameo when the American tennis star appeared in an early discussion with good morning Britain.
