A fan on Twitter expressed the same desire and Navratilova excitingly agreed to it. The mere thought of the two tennis legends against each other on the court must excite every tennis enthusiast.

Martina Navratilova wished to play Serena Williams during her peak

How did Navratilova and Williams change the face of women’s tennis?
The popularity of women’s tennis grew with these players. The corporate world then showed interest and started investing more in the sport, leading to better opportunities for the players. Apart from that, the sheer resilience of the two players became an inspiration for millions around the world.
