Mama Serena Williams Caves to Her Adorable ‘Mini’ Adira’s Huge Demand on Their Girls’ Trip

Life after retirement looks quite picture-perfect for Serena Williams, doesn’t it? Just a few days ago, she surprised everyone with her electrifying performance at the Super Bowl LIX. Then just a day later, she took her younger daughter Adira to the zoo. Williams even shared a video clip on her IG stories saying, “In between meetings, I ran, took Adira to the zoo, and then I’m gonna go back to the office. Just a day in the life.” Amid all that, she found some time for herself too, as she went on a girls’ trip where she was spotted slaying in a stunning bikini top, sitting beside the pool on a bright sunny day. Adira also joined her on her recent trip to a sea beach!

A day ago, Serena Williams shared a few solo pictures on her IG handle, with the caption, “Unfiltered untouched magic at magic hour #girlstrip.” The tennis legend turned heads with her stunning green and white printed beach attire. However, her girls’ trip took a nasty turn afterward! Shortly after that post, she shared an update on her X handle. “Girls trip and sick the entire time?” Serena wrote.

Despite this unexpected twist, the 43-year-old didn’t let her holiday plans derail. Later, she shared an adorable moment with her younger daughter Adira on the seashore. This time she donned a silver monokini with black spots and little Adira wore a white baby suit. The mother-daughter duo posed under the bright sun with the turquoise blue sea in the background. Serena even revealed that little Adira insisted on taking a dip in the ocean. What was Serena Williams’ reply to that special request? “My mini mini Adira Ohanian wanted to take a dip in the ocean. I could not say no,” she wrote in the caption.

Williams loves sea beaches and even last year, she spent some wonderful moments with her family in the Bahamas. Around this time last year, Serena shared a series of photos and a video on her IG account which captured memorable moments from their vacation. In those pictures, she sported a new hairstyle and donned a black one-piece bikini, while her elder daughter Olympia wore a beautiful pink floral swimsuit.

In the pictures, Serena and Olympia were seen having fun and jumping in joy. She captioned that post with, “It may be winter, but we found some heat 🏝️Island Hopping #momsofinstagram #vacation #momlife.”

Then a few weeks later, Serena was spotted in a lilac-colored bikini holding Adira in her arms during a boat ride on a bright blue ocean. She shared that moment on her social media account with a long caption that stated, “I find that I have to remind myself of that self-love through all different stages in my life…”

During her playing days, tennis was her “biggest love,” but now things have changed! She’s now fully focused on her children and she often hails Olympia and Adira as her “biggest love.” She says, “I’m obsessed with those kids.” Serena Williams often engages in different types of activities with her daughters. For example, just a few months ago, she shared a video clip on her IG handle, where Adira could be seen picking up tennis balls and throwing them against the fence instead of putting them into the basket.

Responding to that, Williams said, “She was just doing it. We turned on the camera, she doesn’t want to do it.” Serena has often been seen giving Olympia some tennis lessons as well, during her warm-up drills.
