Last week was huge for the world of tennis as Carlos Alcaraz beat Casper Ruud in the Miami Open final to clinch his first Masters 1000 title. During the same time, another tennis legend, Venus Williams, showed up at the courts in Miami. The seven-time Grand Slam champion attended a clinic to teach and pass on some valuable information to the kids.

One of the trailblazers of the game, Venus Williams had a legendary career as a tennis player. Not just on the court, she has been successful off the court as well. Along with many other female players like Billie Jean King and Serena Williams, Venus was also a great advocate for equality in tennis.
Currently, the 41-year-old tennis star is away from tennis. In the meantime, she decided to pass on some of her knowledge to the young kids. Recently, she visited a VIP clinic at Moore Park in Miami, where she met a bunch of kids. Venus’ coach, Eric Hechtman also joined her in the clinic. Incidentally, Venus’ sportswear brand EleVen by Venus sponsored the whole session inside the clinic.
During the event, we saw the legendary tennis player click some photos with the kids. Then, she had a hitting session with little kids.
First Serve Miami, the non-profit organization, recently posted a few pictures and wrote, “Wow last week was truly a whirlwind of tennis clinics with a few of the greats. Well this clinic was extra special because our kiddos participated in a VIP tennis clinic lead by our amazing coaches , @erichechtman and the illustrious @venuswilliams. Venus and Serena are on the verge of returning to tennis
It’s been a while since we have seen the Williams Sisters on the WTA tour. Right now, fans are patiently waiting for their return. The last few weeks have been quite busy for the two sisters due to the Oscars. Their film ‘King Richard’ was in the spotlight as the lead actor Will Smith won quite a few awards due to his outstanding performance as Richard Williams.
