This year’s Wimbledon came as a ray of hope for the Tunisian player Ons Jabeur where she had her mind set on the goal. To reach that stage, she took down defending champion Elena Rybakina, and Australian Open winner Aryna Sabalenka. But then, things went down in the most heartbreaking way possible. She faced a nearly impossible defeat in straight sets against unseeded player Marketa Vondrousova.

And the post-match on-court interview was an emotional rollercoaster ride for Ons Jabeur and her husband Karim Kamoun who could not control their tears. And now, Kamoun is still fighting his way to make peace with the heartbreaking loss.

Jabeur herself is of the same opinion. She is not letting this defeat of hers hold her back from the disappointment she has felt.
