On September 1, 2017, Serena Williams gave birth to her first child, Olympia. It was a life-changing moment for the American legend, who had won the Australian Open title earlier that year. Olympia has followed in the footsteps of her mother and never shies away from the camera. She celebrated her fifth birthday on Thursday.
On the occasion of her fifth birthday, her father took to Twitter to share a heartfelt message that focused on the impact her birth has had on his life.

Alexis Ohanian’s adorable birthday message to Olympia
The Reddit co-founder took to Twitter to wish his daughter on her fifth birthday. Sharing some adorable pictures with his daughter, he said, “How are you already 5 @olympiaohanian?? I love you more every single day, you’ve made me a better man, and I’m so grateful your mama brought you into this world. I’m gonna Uppy you forever! Thx @ChristinaTosi & @milkbarstore for a very memorable “caking” session.”

Olympia has always shared a close-knit bond with her parents. She frequently shares these adorable moments on platforms such as Instagram and Twitter.
Meanwhile, Alexis, in the past, has also expressed his gratitude for his daughter’s presence in his life. He once revealed how he was inspired by Olympia and Serena to invest in women’s football. Alexis has strongly batted for the growth of women’s sports and invested in the NWSL team, Angel City FC.

Determined as ever, the 23-time Grand Slam champion is putting on a great fight to prolong her stay in the last tournament of her career. Recently, she knocked out the second seed, Anett Kontaveit of Estonia, in the second round.

She will now face Ajla Tomljanovic of Australia in the third round in Flushing Meadows. Their match will take place later today.
