Leylah Fernandez will usher Lululemon into tennis
Lelyah had always wanted to wear clothes by Lululemon while growing up. Amazingly, she has seemed to manifest that wish into a reality, now that she will be leading the brand’s official push into tennis with her sponsorship.
Fernandez expressed how she “wanted to be original, different from the tennis players”. Thus, in wanting to be her own person, she decided to sign with Lululemon, instead of the usual apparel giants.
Then, Lululemon decided to focus on tennis-centric apparel to begin their formal push into tennis. In order to do so, they were looking for a big name to sign with them, and Fernandez wanted to be it. “Lulelemon is the one for me,” she had told her agents.
