King Richard is the biopic of Venus and Serena Williams’ father and coach, Richard Williams. On a larger front, it is a story about a family which works together to accomplish a dream. Naturally, the world cannot wait to see this inspiring tale unfold on the big screens.

Although the film is yet to release, it has created a buzz unlike any other in the movie industry. What’s more, many athletes, film directors, and famous personalities who watched the movie in private screenings are talking highly of King Richard.

Also, along with the story of Venus and Serena, Will Smith’s portrayal of Richard Williams received high praises. Recently, Kurt Carr, Dan Carrillo Levy, Jalen Ramsey, and Lisa Leslie reviewed King Richard.

Reviews for Venus and Serena Williams’ father biopic, King Richard

First, the American gospel singer Kurt Carr applauded Will Smith and Aunjanue Ellis’s performance, who played Venus and Serena‘s father and mother, respectively. He then shared his experience of watching his favorite tennis player, Venus Williams’ journey once again.

“As the self-proclaimed No.1 Venus Williams fan in the world, I’m glad to see Venus celebrated for being the ONE who revolutionized women’s tennis & inspiring sister Serena Williams to become the G.O.A.T.! A great #FeelGood movie that inspires us to keep dreaming,” Carr wrote on Twitter.

Furthermore, the film director Dan Carrillo Levy felt an everlasting impression of King Richard on him. He wrote, “I still can’t stop thinking about how much I loved King Richard.”

Additionally, the American cornerback Jalen Ramsey and former basketball professional Lisa Leslie spoke highly out of the film. They even rated King Richard as a “MUST SEE” and “10 out of 10,” respectively.

In the United States, the film will release on 19th November 2021 and stream on HBO Max.

Venus and Serena join forces together on a tennis court

Remarkably, the Williams sisters once again came together to play tennis after almost a decade. Both Venus and Serena played doubles at the Mouratoglou Tennis Academy.

Moreover, the 23-time Grand Slam champion Serena has already confirmed her Australian Open 2022 participation. Similarly, the seven majors champion Venus would announce her decision soon.

Above all, it would be a treat to the tennis fans to see Serena and Venus compete on the WTA Tour again. The same goes for their movie, King Richard.
