He thanked his family, friends, team, and fans for their incredible support and wrote, “YES 945 days since the last win, and it’s finally come home. SILVERSTONE I LOVE YOU…THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU KEEP GOING. STILL WE RISE.” Serena Williams commented on that post and also shared that historic moment on her Instagram stories.

In the comments of that post, Williams attached a few ‘heart‘ emojis and wrote, “Don’t let anyone tell you what you can’t do you better than everyone! Seeeeee?? I see! Love you bro The best ever,” Even her husband Alexis Ohanian, also shared a post dedicated to Lewis Hamilton on his historic day. He tweeted, “LFG @LewisHamilton and what a place to do it.

Serena Williams had previously revealed that Lewis Hamilton could have had nine titles by now. “He [Lewis Hamilton] is for me the greatest driver that our generation has seen. I’m confident that he will break the record of Michael Schumacher, who was also a fabulous driver,” said Williams during an interview in 2020. During an interview with GQ Sports, Hamilton revealed that his longtime friend Williams is his ‘favorite sporter outside motorsport.
