The year 2017 turned out to be one of the most important years in Serena Williams’ life. It began with Serena lifting her 23rd Grand Slam title by winning the Australian Open. In an emotional victory, she defeated her elder sister, Venus Williams in the finals to win the title Down Under.

Later in the year, Serena tied the knot with Reddit co-founder, Alexis Ohanian in a private ceremony. Further, she gave birth to her daughter, Olympia in September 2017.

Serena enjoys a loving bond with her husband. Additionally, they often share their adorable moments on social media. Recently, Serena showed off a wonderful gift from Alexis.

Alexis Ohanian gifts Serena Williams a bunch of red roses

The younger Williams sister took to Instagram to show off Alexis Ohanian’s gift. Posting a story on her official Instagram handle, she said, “I love getting flowers from Alexis Ohanian.”

Last month, Alexis celebrated his 39th birthday. On this occasion, Serena gifted him a lovely card that read, “Not just for today but everyday. I love you. Your wife.”

Further, on his birthday, Alexis shared a lovely picture with her daughter Olympia, saying, “I’m 39 today. Waking up with this little paleontologist was the best birthday gift I could’ve asked for.”

Last week, Serena joined her sister, Venus, Caroline Wozniacki, Juan Martin del Potro, and other famous personalities at the Miami Grand Prix. It was the inaugural race on this circuit and Serena made her presence felt on this special occasion.

Serena and Venus were present at the Mercedes-AMG garage to support and cheer their friend, Lewis Hamilton. Further, Red Bull’s Max Verstappen won the Miami Grand Prix, with the Ferrari duo of Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz Jr. finishing second and third, respectively. Meanwhile, Hamilton finished in the sixth spot, behind his compatriot, George Russell.
