Serena Williams has surpassed a number of records with her stellar prowess on the court. And now it looks like her husband, Alexis Ohanian, is also joining a similar race to crush records. However, it is in a totally disparate field – trading cards. The American internet entrepreneur has already purchased the world’s largest card collection (featuring his tennis star wife). And now he is on a mission to surpass a record-breaking sale of trading cards featuring female athletes. However, being an ardent collector, the Reddit co-founder was recently taken aback by another prominent figure’s whopping $2,600,000 spent in the same avenue.
The collector in question is none other than well-known rapper Post Malone, who has now purchased a unique copy of ‘The Lord of the Rings’ trading cards. Here’s how the tech entrepreneur reacted to the American rapper’s recent purchase as he created MTG cards history.

Just like the American internet entrepreneur, Post Malone is another notable figure who has ardently been following his passion for collecting famous trading cards. Being a part of the Lord of the Rings fandom, the 28-year-old rapper recently took his interest to the next level by purchasing the Magic The Gathering ‘The One Ring’ collection for a whopping $2,600,000.
The most expensive MTG card of all-time is now in the hands of the American rapper, who has created history by smashing the previous record of $800k. Taking note of the same, another diligent collector, Alexis Ohanian was stunned when he came across the news on Twitter. He retweeted the post while reacting with a ‘Hot Face’ emoji.

Just like Malone, the Reddit co-founder has also scripted history in the same avenue.
