Noskova received a walkover from an injured Svitolina in round four. She had won the first three games when Svitolina decided she couldn’t continue the match. Noskova sat down for the post-match press conference, where she talked about her upcoming bouts. A reporter also asked her about which experience she would stack higher, winning against the world number 1 or playing against the Williams sisters in the 2022 US Open.
“I think that singles and doubles are two different sports, first of all. But at the same time I think that the US Open Serena and Venus doubles were more of, like, an experience, like a memory, and this was actually, like, the match that I did on my own, you know. I think that the match with Iga is probably still second. So yeah, I don’t think that anything will probably ever top the doubles.”
Noskova is a fan of the two WTA legends through and through. After her match with Swiatek ended, an old interview of her came up. In the exclusive with the WTA, she talked about wanting Serena and Venus Williams memorabilia.

In a 2022 interview with the WTA, she expressed a desire she had as a tennis fan: to be photographed with the sport’s icons. “A dream come true,” Nosková said. “Actually, I just wanted to have a picture with Serena or Venus before the tournament. Like, this might be my last chance to do that. But I really didn’t expect to be on the greatest court, biggest court out there, along with these two legends.”
With the way she is demolishing players in the game, she is bound to reach even higher, and her dream of getting a picture with Venus and Serena Williams will come closer.
