The American thrashed her Italian rival Martina Trevisan in the straight sets of 6-3, 6-1 to secure a final match against the Polish tennis ace Iga Swiatek. Gauff and 2020 French Open champion will lock horns in the last round of Roland Garros.

Further, they have clashed twice earlier and Swiatek came out victorious in both the matches. In addition, she is currently carrying a 33 match winning streak and will look for a Grand Slam title alongside her 34th victory.

Gauff is an exceptional player of doubles category. And whenever she collaborates with fellow American tennis ace Jessica Pegula, her chances of winning an event increases many folds. Further, they recently claimed the title at 2022 Qatar Open and had a semifinal run in Miami.
Currently, she is playing alongside Pegula in the doubles category of the French Open and has secured a seat in semifinals. The duo will have a face off with another pair- Taylor Townsend and Madison Keys on 3rd may for a position in the finals.
