Even though a number of well-known personalities try keeping their life private, that isn’t the case with Serena Williams. The American legend is one of the most active athletes on social media. The 23-time Grand Slam champion gives daily updates about her engagements throughout the day. Having a whopping 14.5 million followers on Instagram, the champion uploads regular stories giving fans a sneak peek into her private life.
The stories usually feature Serena herself, posing in front of a mirror, along with talking with her followers. Recently, Serena Williams took to her Instagram to upload two stories.

Serena poses in a swimming sarong
In the first story put out by Serena, the 40-year-old uploaded a mirror selfie posing in her red-colored, patterned swimwear. Seeing the story, one could easily make out that the legendary player either went swimming or to the beach.
However, the speculations soon came to an end when Serena uploaded the second story. In the second story, Serena gave a background of her previous photo. Clearing the speculations, she confessed that is tempted to go swimming in the pool. Explaining herself, she said, “It’s been a long time and I was actually on my way to the gym and I saw the pool. I was like…let’s do the pool. So, it’s cool because I’m by myself and it’s fun. Although I was by myself in the gym but I did that this morning.”

This is not the first time that the Olympic gold medalist has opened up about her swimming sessions. Prior to this, Serena has uploaded a number of stories/posts in the past, giving a glimpse of her love for swimming. Apart from featuring herself, these stories/posts have also had Serena’s daughter Olympia and on many occasions, her husband, Alexis Ohanian.

The potential comeback of Serena Williams
Williams last played on the tour at the 2021 Wimbledon where she suffered a hamstring injury. Being out of the tour since then, Williams recently dropped hints of her potential comeback at this year’s Wimbledon. However, there is no official statement or exact timeline about Serena’s comeback.
