Thereafter, she gave a fresh start to her love life with Olympic skier Andy Mill and then broke the union to be with Greg Norman, the Australian retired golfer. However, her partnership with Norman couldn’t survive the lingering past, and the people related to it. Hence, leading them to divorce within a span of a few months. Evert’s struggle with cancer and Mill’s help
After struggling with her marriages, she lost her younger sister and got diagnosed with cancer. Evert who had lost Jeanne Evert Dublin to the deadly disease tested positive for the genes causing the same. Following that, in a preventive hysterectomy, stage one ovarian cancer was detected in her system.

The seven times French Open champion underwent six chemotherapy sessions to uproot the disease with her ex-husband by her side. Mill attended every session alongside Evert and after the sixth session witnessed her ring the bells with a huge smile on his face.
At present Evert is out of danger and has resumed her job at ESPN. In fact, she was on the broadcasting team when the legendary Serena Williams took retirement.
