Venus Williams is ready to embrace a completely different professional approach to give it back to the tennis courts. These are the same courts that made her the household name she is today. The seven-time Grand Slam champion and her sister Serena Williams started their tennis journey on public tennis courts.

The former tennis world number one’s partnership with a $1,000,000,000 brand recently came to light. With this partnership, she brings a fresh approach to enhance the surroundings where she spent the majority of her life.

The seven-time Grand Slam champion and one of her old endorsement partners, Lacoste, recently renovated two tennis courts in New York City. This was their way of giving back to the tennis community. Recently, the apparel brand shared this amazing news on its Instagram account as the brand celebrated its 90th anniversary.

The caption also quoted Williams’ words, “It’s important for me to be close to the young generation. Sport has the power to change lives and I hope those 2 courts will make the kids want to practice more tennis.”

The post included a few pictures from the renovated tennis courts. In the pictures, the former world number one enjoyed playing tennis on the new courts, inspiring some young athletic minds. The 43-year-old American tennis legend, as an ambassador of the $1,000,000,000 brand, took this huge step to celebrate and give back to the sport.

Last year, after parting ways with Nike, Williams joined hands with Lacoste. Since then, she has touched new horizons with different collaborations. A few months ago, she also followed Roger Federer’s business move to create a similar one with the activewear brand.

Just like the 41-year-old Swiss tennis legend, Venus Williams also signed a deal with luxury eyewear brand Oliver Peoples. The deal intends to bring her signature-style glasses back into fashion. The seven-time Grand Slam champion of the sportswear brand called it the Lacoste Eyewear Active Line style. Not only that, she was also seen flaunting the cat-eye sunglasses, making her fans fall in love with the new eyewear line.
