Further, the plot of the movie revolves around a slave who escapes from a Louisiana plantation and outwits hunters to make his way to the north. It will reach the theaters on December 2 and will be available for streaming on Apple TV+ from December 9 onwards.

As the movie King Richard was a great success, it booked several Academy Award nominations. King Richard was in a run for a total of six awards in the 94th season of Oscar. However, the entire focus of the event was diverted when Smith, who later lifted the award for the best actor, raised his hand on Chris Rock.
Rock, the famous comedian and the host of the evening, made a comment on the actor’s wife Jada Pinkett Smith’s hair. Although he meant no disrespect, his words irked Smith, and he approached the stage to plant a slap on Rock’s face.
