The entire event acted host to an array of celebs, but some stole the limelight. While the Hadid sisters started the tournaments by attending Williams’ opening round match, Kendall Jenner gave the finishing touch by appearing at the finals. Thus making the Grand Slam memorable.
Kendall Jenner shines at the US Open
On 11th September, Kendall walked into the premises of the US Open alongside her boyfriend and Phoenix Suns basketball player Devin Booker. After setting the ramp on fire in fashion weeks, she gave the tennis world a major fashion moment.
The runway sensation attended the finals at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Queens, wearing a white dress by Bottega Veneta. The dress comprised a V- neckline, structured bodice, and A-line skirt. Further, she threw on a navy blue sweater which, during her arrival, was tied at the waist and later got draped over her shoulders.

Speaking of accessories, Kendall paired her attire with a Ralph Lauren baseball cap and gold earrings. Also, the black Gucci sunglasses and chocolate brown Bottega Veneta Sardine Top Handle Bag added a subtle spark. With a pair of thong-heeled sandals by The Row, Jenner completed her look.

The US Open witnessed the World no.1 assert dominance on consecutive Grand Slams this season. Iga Swiatek took down home favorite Jessica Pegula and former World no.2 Aryna Sabalenka to book a match with Ons Jabeur.
The Tunisian, on the other hand, in the quarterfinals, got the better of Serena Williams’ slayer, Ajla Tomljanović. Then she outclassed Cincinnati Masters Champion Caroline Garcia in the semis to reach to the finals.

Though the pole who slipped Jabeur’s Italian Open’s trophy thrashed her in the clash of 11th September. The 21-year-old French Open champion reigned in the hard courts of the US Open. She claimed the trophy with a straight-set win of 6-2 7-6 (5) at Arthur Ashe stadium.
