Coco Gauff reveals spending a lot of time on TikTok
During the on-court interview after her fourth-round victory, Gauff humorously talked about her addiction to TikTok. She said, “I just scroll on TikTok all day, to be honest. I like, set screen-time for myself but I’ve been putting in the password every time so I haven’t been following it.”

At just 18, Gauff is at the top of her game. She is enjoying her best result at the US Open this year. In 2019, she reached the third round in Flushing Meadows before losing out against Naomi Osaka.
However, Gauff had to face an unexpected defeat on the doubles front. Seeded second along with her partner Jessica Pegula, the duo lost in the opening round against Leylah Fernandez and Daria Saville. Owing to this result, Gauff will lose her World Number 1 ranking in doubles post the US Open.

After a straight-set win over Shuai Zhang, Gauff will take on Caroline Garcia of France in the quarterfinals of the 2022 US Open. Garcia had earlier defeated Alison Riske-Amritraj to enter the last eight.
Gauff and Garcia have met twice before, with the former coming out on top in both those encounters. It’ll be interesting to see if Garcia can overturn the result this time around.
