The world number one, Sabalenka planned on drinking during the off-season but she hilariously refused to reveal what the drink would be.

Talking about drinks, recently Jessica Pegula got reminded of a promise that Aryna Sabalenka had made to her fans during the US Open. Recently, WTA released a video clip on their IG page captioned, “The real question is, who would you pass the phone to?” The video starts with Coco Gauff saying, “Hey guys, I’m Coco I’m passing the phone to someone who loves dogs more than herself!” We all know Pegula is a big dog lover and has a number of dogs in her home. So, JP comes in and says, “I’m passing the phone to someone who said they would buy everybody at the US Open drinks, but maybe didn’t.”

Pegula claimed that she drank it to stay hydrated for a drug test and to help her after the loss. There have been multiple such instances where we saw her reflecting on her love for her favorite drink. Recently, after seeing her comment about Aryna Sabalenka surrounding the Belarusian’s promise at the 2024 US Open, some of the fans thought, “She (Pegula) wanted that drink.”

There have been multiple such instances where Jessica Pegula has been found poking fun at her peers, this was perhaps one of those hilarious moments. For example, shortly after losing the final match against Sabalenka by two sets, Pegula joked, “I wish she (Sabalenka) would have at least let me get one set.” These are some of the moments that reflect the fun-loving character of Jessica Pegula. After seeing the recently released video clip by the WTA, some of the fans wrote, “Love you Jess always cool and classy but this was funny, Aryna looks masculine here.

Multiple drinks at the US Open cost more than $20. So with a crowd of more than 20,000 people, it would’ve been a big worry for Aryna Sabalenka to give out free drinks for everyone. However, if the crowd helps you the grab that staggering $3.6 million grand prize, then, Sabalenka surely could’ve given it a try, isn’t it? Did she try, though? During a post-match interview with Pam Shriver at the US Open, we heard Sabalenka say, “So guys, marg-’Aryna’ for everyone from Dobel Tequila. You’re welcome.” Even after winning the 2024 Cincinnati Open she hilariously named this brand saying, “You know, I’m getting old. There is no more sweets. Where is Dobel Tequila? You got to try marg-Aryna. That’s, that’s the best drink. You have to drink ‘Marg-Aryna.‘”

Perhaps, Jessica Pegula was this time hinting at ‘marg-Aryna.’ instead of a beer! After hearing out Pegula’s hilarious dig at Sabalenka, a fan wrote, “JPEG is so funny for this.

Did Aryna Sabalenka keep his promise unfulfilled? So, thanks to the Belarusian’s valiant efforts, some of the fans got a discount on their drinks. However, after seeing this recent video clip, we saw some of the fans giving out numerous reactions stating, “Sabalenka didn’t buy drinks after US Open win 😱😱😱.
