Coming off a fourth-round victory at Wimbledon, Pegula has entered the final stages and now only has eyes for the trophy. She is also performing outstandingly in women’s doubles with her partner, Coco Gauff. In the top 10 for a long part of her career, Pegula has amassed a huge sum from prize money.
But the fact that can’t be changed is that the American player also comes from a billionaire family, which got her the title of being the richest tennis player in the world. The daughter of Buffalo Bills owner at the post-match presser addressed the matter of being called the richest tennis player in the world. Pegula said that she was aware of the title and it doesn’t bother her much. However, she would prefer it if fans did not use the term.
Pegula said, “Yeah, I mean, people say that. I personally don’t have that money; it’s probably my dad or my parents. So I don’t know why that kinda stuck, but I mean, I understand, though.”

The WTA number 4 went on to say that she would love to be known as rich due to winning the SW19. “I don’t really think it matters how much money you have, yea it would be great to win Wimbledon because I would have a lot of money if I won. So I think I would trade.”??
