Earlier this year, there was much buzz surrounding American tennis, especially their Paris Olympics campaign. The contingent boasted some power-packed names in the form of Coco Gauff and Taylor Fritz, who were carrying their country’s hopes on their shoulders in Paris. However, the United States had to be content with just a couple of medals, 1 silver, and 1 bronze. The likes of Jessica Pegula and Emma Navarro, who were also in the fray, disappointed the fans as they suffered shocking defeats. Nonetheless, they made the most of their time at the Olympics with interesting activities.
After their Paris Olympics stint, Jessica Pegula took to social media to share a behind-the-scenes video, which showed a goofy side of the billionaire heiress, Emma Navarro. Emma is the daughter of Ben Navarro, who is the founder of Sherman Financial Group. His current net worth is estimated to be $1.5 billion.
In a video that Pegula shared on her TikTok account, she documented Navarro at the Olympics. While on one occasion, Navarro could be seen exploring the city, in another part of the video, she was caught in a deep sleep on the sofa.

The weather conditions during the Olympics weren’t the most ideal. Rain gods opened up and there were spells of heavy showers. In one such instance in the video, Navarro could be seen soaking in the rain, which lashed down in Paris.

Coming into this year’s US Open, Navarro was 0-2 at the tournament, losing both of her opening-round matches on the previous two occasions. However, her form this year has been in stark contrast to her previous performances at the US Open. Navarro has impressed one and all with her game at Flushing Meadows this year.

Following her victory over Gauff, Navarro said, “It’s pretty insane. I lost in the first round the last two years, and now to be making quarterfinals is pretty insane. This is the city I was born in and it feels so special to be playing here. Coco’s an amazing player and I have a ton of respect for her. I know she’s going to come back here and win this thing again one year.”
Navarro will next face Paula Badosa of Spain, who is also having a dream run at the tournament. Do you think the American star can go all the way and win the US Open this year? Let us know in the comments below.
