Serena Williams has been out of action for nine months now. The former World No. 1 last played at 2021 Wimbledon, suffering a hamstring injury, that forced her to withdraw mid-match. As a result, the American suffered a first-round exit at the Grand Slam she has won 7-times.

Being out of the tour for a long time now, Serena seems to be making the most out of this phase. Even in her busy schedule, the player has managed to take out some time to herself. On 23rd March, the 40-year-old took to her Instagram uploading a post. In the post, the American sensation revealed her latest vibe.

Serena’s chilling vibe

Apart from being one of the greatest tennis players in the history of women’s tennis, Serena is also regarded as one of the most celebrated fashionistas. Today was no different. In the Instagram post, Serena opted for a pair of yellow jeans, coupled with a white T-shirt and a denim jacket. The player completed her look with a pair of white sneakers.

Carrying the casual look with utmost trendiness, the player posed with a black railing in between peach-colored artistic walls. While the champion posed sitting on the railing in the first photo, she opted to stand with her back towards the camera in the second.

She captioned the post, “My whole vibe lately has been “just chill Rena, it’s ok to take a minute for yourself.” What do you do to relax? Morning or night?”

The post in no time gathered eyeballs, with celebrity chef Lauren Von Der Pool, Co-founder of Shop.com and Market America, Loren Ridinger, and husband Alexis Ohanian commenting on it.

Serena Williams in 2021

Coming back to tennis. Serena had a not so pleasant previous season. The 73-singles title holder started her 2021 season at the WTA 500 Yarrey Valley Classic. Cruising through the initial rounds, she set up a semifinal with Ashleigh Barty. However, the happiness was short-lived as she suffered a right shoulder injury, that forced her to withdraw from the match.

She made a strong comeback at the Australian Open, reaching the semifinals. However, once again, the successful run was short-lived. Post the Australian Open, she suffered second-round losses in WTA 1000 Rome and WTA 250 Parma. She further faced a fourth-round exit in Roland Garros, before finally suffering a hamstring injury at Wimbledon.
