The matches of Coco Gauff never fail to catch the eyes of tennis fans. Be it her impressive performances or some silly mistakes, Gauff is one of the most-talked-about tennis players in the world. However, on this occasion, she was on the receiving end for making huge mistakes during her match against Paula Badosa at the Italian Open, despite the American’s ultimate victory. As a result, fans couldn’t keep calm and vented their frustration on this matter.

The American sensation just won her pre-quarterfinal match in Rome. However, she put on a shambolic serving display, making as many as 9 double faults in two sets. As a result, fans weren’t happy with her performance and one of them said, “Coco Gauff is playing like sh*t today.”

One of the fans made a massive admission as Gauff was serving badly and said, “Gauff. Worst player to ever win a major. WTA at its finest. Professional who can’t serve or use a forehand wins a major. Unwatchable.”

Meanwhile, another fan had a suggestion for her amid her poor service games. The comment read, “Coco Gauff has to send a petition to the @WTA asking if in her matches she can only receive and not serve.”

On the other hand, one Twitter user hoped that Gauff could cover it up with her return of serves, saying, “At some point you don’t even get shocked by a Gauff double fault.. gotta break right back.”

However, one of the fans was left frustrated after watching Gauff serve so poorly, with the comment reading, “Gauff has been so sh*t on serve this match wtf.”

Despite Gauff’s poor service performance right throughout the match, Badosa couldn’t take advantage of it. The latter suffered a heartbreak as she bowed out of the Italian Open.

Meanwhile, the fans aren’t the only ones to point out Gauff’s blunders on her serve. Even Serena Williams’ ex-coach, Rennae Stubbs, had some brutal opinion on Gauff’s serve, saying, “Everyone talked about the forehand…What the f*ck..again, the serve is killing her.” Further, she also added that Gauff was double-faulting outrageously.

For Gauff to win the Italian Open, she has to improve her serve massively. She will next take on Qinwen Zheng of China, a player she is yet to play a match against.
