Aryna Sabalenka is lucky to have someone who not only sits beside her but also holds her hand to lift her spirits after a disappointing loss in the final of the 2024 Italian Open. Iga Swiatek recently defeated Aryna Sabalenka by 6-2,6-3 to complete a rare Madrid–Rome sweep on Saturday. While Sabalenka is coping with the situation in her own way, she has her rumored boyfriend Georgios Frangulis all along by her side.

Georgios Frangulis was spotted in the stands during the final match in Rome. He has been a constant support for the Belarusian tennis star over the last few months. Even in the finals of the 2024 Madrid Open, he was seen cheering for Sabalenka from the stands during the finals. Then as per several reports, Aryna Sabalenka was seen hugging a man in Madrid who was identified as Georgios Frangulis. And now, in Rome, they are yet again spotted going hand-in-hand during the dinner after the final match.

Sabalenka’s coaching team came along with the couple to have dinner and shared a light-hearted moment after a grueling grand finale in Rome. Georgios Frangulis is the founder of Oakberry Acai Bowls. Earlier this year the brand announced a new partnership with Aryna Sabalenka. The Belarusian tennis star loves snacking on healthy smoothies, and protein bars. Acai bowls from Oakberry fit perfectly in her ‘super-strict‘ diet.

Iga Swiatek now has an 8-3 lead in the head-to-head against Aryna Sabalenka. Both of them have been quite consistent with their performances over the years. But a loss is never pleasant! And here’s what Aryna Sabalenka had to say after this defeat in Rome. She first added, “Just like I promised, thank you Georgios for your support.” And then went on to crack a joke on her team.

Aryna Sabalenka hilariously stated, “Of course, last but not least, I want to thank my team for helping me lose another final. That’s all your fault, guys!” However, there still remains a concern about the injury which she received earlier in this tournament. She went on to add, “No, I’m kidding. They know everything. I’m really happy to have you guys by my side. Three rounds before, we weren’t sure if we were going to make it to the final. It was a huge achievement with a little injury and hopefully, I’ll recover fast for Roland Garros.”
