Coco Gauff is delighted to be at the Wimbledon

Cori Gauff showered praises on the Wimbledon tour and the serenity of the location. She said, “It feels really great. Just being back in London and then UK in general. It’s been really nice and Wimbledon in particular, I would say, the prettiest tournament to ever exist in tennis. I am always happy to play but a little extra here. I mean centre court; It’s just so pretty.”

Cori Gauff expressed her joy at playing on the central grass court, which marks its centenary move.

World no. 12 said, “I feel like the crowd gets the quietest here. People are shouting and when you start to bounce the ball, you can literally hear a pin drop and I think that center court has that vibe. I have never seen a crowd get so quiet right before you are about to serve. It makes me nervous.”

The rise of the American sensation

She hoped to keep her momentum on at the court so that she can claim more victories here. She said, “I think I only have one loss there so far. Hopefully, it can stay like that.”
