Serena adds another recogniti0n to her long list of recognitions
Yesterday, the 14th of April, Serena took to her Instagram, announcing her latest recognition. The champion announced the win through a post on her Instagram handle. Serena received recognition as a ‘fashion icon’ by the Fashion Institute of Technology, New York City.
The award came as a major motivation and inspiration for the player who is extremely focused on fashion right now. Launching her own fashion line and tying up with a number of luxury brands, it wouldn’t be wrong to say that Serena is one of the most recognized personalities in the fashion world.

Announcing the recognition by FIT NYC, the owner of ‘S by Serena’ wrote, “It was an honor to be recognized as a “Fashion Icon” by the Fashion Institute of Technology — an internationally recognized leader in education in design, fashion and business, and presented the award by Zales Jewelers. I’ve always felt it is super important to celebrate your inner power through your exterior statement and make that your fashion statement”

The potential return of Serena Williams

Serena Williams last played on the tour at the 2021 Wimbledon. Eying her 8th title, she kicked off her tournament campaign with a first-round clash against Aliaksandra Sasnovich. However, at 3-3 in the first set, she suffered a hamstring injury which not only forced her to retire from the tournament but also kept her out of action for the remainder of the 2021 season.
Nonetheless, recently, she dropped a hint on a potential return at the 2022 Wimbledon. However, there is no official statement by Serena or Wimbledon about her return yet.
