The younger Williams, who is also a prolific Tennis Star, was talking to “Women’s Health”. She was giving an interview regarding her support to Berlin’s new campaign–‘In support of you’. Serena opens up about the importance of support, on and off-the-court powers, and self-confidence.

Serena Williams talks about self-confidence
A fierce player on-court is oozing with self-confidence. Her opponents defiantly find it difficult to answer her volley’s back, so one may think that the confidence in Serena is natural to her. But when asked about the secret, Serena differs from these assumptions.
She said, “It was definitely something I had to work on, it did not come naturally at all. In fact I was looking at this video recently where I was talking and I was so young, but you can just see that I didn’t have a lot of confidence there but I was really trying.”

It was a young Serena Williams who gave the interviewer a strong answer about her “idol”, but she still feels that she had to work on her self-confidence. Serena Further added, “For me it didn’t come naturally but having stuff like this to feel supportive definitely helps you feel, and can help other people feel, more confident sooner than me.”

Former World no. 1 player had a glorious tennis career. She won 23-Gland Slams, the most in today’s active players, also remained top seed for record 186 weeks in a row. The highest-paid woman-Tennis player has won 4 Olympic Gold medals for Team USA.

In Doubles also Serena had won all the Slams with her elder sister, Venus Williams. With a total of 14- doubles titles, Serena and Venus have won each grand slam at least twice.
