Romanian tennis star Simona Halep put up a great fight against Iga Swiatek in the semi-finals of the BNP Paribas Open. At the moment, she is gearing up for the Miami Open. The two-time grand slam champion has reported some pain after Indian Wells though she assured her fans that it is not a serious injury.

Simona has shown confidence in her performance and believes that she can outperform herself and play nicely in Miami.
“I came to Miami with confidence that I can play good tennis again.” Though she experienced some pain in the semi-finals of the Indian wells, she assured her fans that she can take care of it.
She clarified that her injury is not a serious one. However, it can get riskier as the tournament goes on. The Romanian player has been taking care of her injury and hence has been hitting the ball lightly to not cause any more damage.
“I protect a little, I have some pain. I did an MRI, he showed me it wasn’t serious. But it can get worse with the game. But I’ll take care of it.”?

Can the Romanian clinch the title at Miami?
Simona Halep will face Daria Saville in Miami and has attributed the game to be tough as it would be the first one in the tournament for Halep. If she cruises through it, the Romanian player might face Emma Raducanu. Conclusively, Halep’s form has been top-notch till the Indian Wells. She hopes to stay away from getting injured to prove her efficiency and play her level best.
