But she’s definitely been busy off the court. Remember Andrea Preti? A day ago, they were spotted looking pretty cozy at Milan Fashion Week. Could this be it?

On Tuesday, Williams and Preti were spotted at the Dsquared2 Fall/Winter 2025 fashion show. In a video clip on IG, by WWD, they were seen sharing a kiss while wrapping arms around each other. Venus wore a pink suit comprising a low-cut blazer, along with a band on her left ring finger. Meanwhile, Preti donned a black suit, as reported by People magazine on February 25. But the question is: Are they really engaged? Well, there seems to be a possibility. Reason?

Williams and Preti ignited engagement rumors in early February after a cozy sighting outside a Rome tennis training session. She was wearing something that appeared to be a square-cut diamond. Whereas, last month, she was seen sporting a gold band on her ring finger while attending Dior’s Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2025 show in Paris. However, it’s not confirmed whether it was given to her by Preti.

Andrea Preti’s personal life: Preti’s story began in Denmark, where he was born in 1988 and spent his formative years. As a teenager, he moved to Italy with his family. He then moved from modeling to acting and producing, refining his craft at the Susan Batson Academy in New York. This training paved the way for his career in television, film, and advertising.

For the uninitiated, the two have been reportedly dating since mid-2024. Back in July, they were captured boating together in Nerano, Italy. Prior to rumors surrounding Preti, Venus Williams has been in several relationships already.

A decade ago, she dated model Elis Pio in 2012 and then Nicholas Hammond in 2017. But later, in 2019, the two ended up splitting. After parting ways with Hammond, Williams revealed she felt more content being single.

When Venus Williams shared her honest thoughts on being single

In an interaction with Glamour magazine, in October 2022, Venus Williams let her feelings out on dating. “I think it’s really easy to get stuck in a single life and sometimes – at least for me – harder to get out of a single life,” she said. She revealed that she’s been single “for a long time.”

Moreover, she emphasized on the fact that she never rushes into a relationship. “This is how I work and function, and I’m okay with it,” added Williams. “When life changes, you’ve got to know when to change. You can’t hold on to either a relationship or the singleness. You have to be able to move at the time – and even if you don’t want to or aren’t ready, you’ve just got to go with it.”

However, a year ago, during an interview with ESPN in 2021, she said, “I’m very single. Actually, I might be undateable.” She revealed how not having a partner didn’t really bother her. But why so? “I have a lot of friends who don’t believe me when I say that I like my life and I don’t want to change it for any reason.”

“I’m not desperate and they don’t believe me. They say things like, ‘You’re going to miss your window.’ I’m like, ‘Please, relax. You might feel this way, but I don’t. I promise you I don’t.’” Despite being content with her ‘single’ life, it seems Williams has finally found her true soul mate in Preti. Or has she? Only time will tell.
