In her official Instagram story, Venus Williams shared a clip, where fans spotted a trailer-like video of a documentary showing vintage clips of America’s female football tournaments. The clip further showed those female soccer stars at their elderly age narrating the thrilling on-field experiences.
The clip showed Serena Williams, Venus Williams, and Alex Morgan’s name as executive producers with an exclusive feature at the BSI London Film Festival. Sharing the clip, Venus Williams wrote- “Get Ready to be Inspired! Proud to have been a part of this with @serenawilliams @alexmoirgan13 & @ladyish01.”
This trailer is for the film called US Soccer Star and Williams’s sister’s half-sister Isha Price will also be co-producing this film. Now Venus Williams’s happiness seemed explainable. She said- “When I heard about the 1971 Women’s World Cup, I couldn’t believe this incredible story was erased from our history books. I’m excited to team with my sisters and Westbrook Studios to help elevate and empower fellow female athletes and their accomplishments, and to make sure these women have their voices heard through this inspiring documentary.”
