Talking about this, Andreescu said, “She’s like unapologetically herself. She just she’s, she’s herself. She doesn’t change for anyone. She’s very outspoken. She says what she believes in, and she’s not apologetic about it. And I felt that as a kid.”

Further, she went on to add, “She’s always told me things like, “never give up. Always go for your dreams don’t settle for less.” Those things. And I feel like it just ingrained through my mind. And yeah, I’m glad that it’s you know, transferring on the tennis court as well.”

How has Andreescu performed this season?

With injuries affecting her career post the US Open win, Andreescu has failed to replicate the form shown earlier. This season too, the Canadian star has had early exits from the tournaments.
