Indian Wells 2024: Victoria Azarenka’s Ex-Boyfriend Turns ‘Official Hype Man’ With His Insane Energy at the Desert

That’s the official hype man of Indian Wells. And he’s none other than the American rapper and singer, Redfoo who is also in fact the ex-boyfriend of Belarusian tennis star, Victoria Azarenka.

Stefan Kendal Gordy (Redfoo) is a big tennis fan. He’s often seen at the stands during tournaments across the globe. Recently, he visited the Indian Wells Tennis Garden in a match between Carlos Alcaraz and Felix Auger Aliassime. He seemed to have been loving his time at Tennis Paradise.

No matter what the clock says, it’s always party time for Victoria Azarenka’s ex-boyfriend!

Recently, Redfoo was spotted dancing to the tunes of his song during a break at Indian Wells. However, the popular singer didn’t only attend Alcaraz’s match but was also spotted at Peyton Stearns’ player box during her match against Aryna Sabalenka at the 2024 BNP Paribas Open. Even Tennis TV was excited, referring to a clip of him dancing as ‘Official hype man of Indian Wells’ with a dancing emoji!

Victoria Azarenka and Redfoo started dating each other in 2012, but the couple broke up two years later, in June 2014. Since then, Victoria Azarenka has time and again spoken about the hardships that 2014 brought to her life. During that year, she not only faced troubles off the court but also missed almost 24 matches due to her foot and knee injuries. She was brought down from world number 1 to becoming the 31 in the world.

In an interview with The New York Times in 2015 she revealed, “I did get my heart broken; I really did. I’m over it, but it was broken. And I’m not afraid to admit that it was, but it’s life.”

A few years ago during an interview, Redfoo spoke about his breakup with Victoria Azarenka. He revealed how their busy schedules drove them apart from each other. “We both had strong careers and we both want to support each other. It was tough,” said Redfoo.

He further went on to add, “I want to cryogenically freeze the love, put it in a lab, and come back to it when everything is organized and I can appoint another captain of the ship. It was tough. I found myself oftentimes thinking more about their career.”
