Anastasia Potapova, on the other hand, is coming to the Indian Wells Open after a third-round defeat at the Dubai Tennis Championship. Now, the Russian tennis star overcame the likes of Marie Bouzková and Nadia Podoroska in the initial round of games. Potapova then defeated her Italian opponent Jasmine Paolini in a three-set thriller, 7-5, 0-6, 6-3.

Kostyuk vs Potapova: Head-to-Head

The quarterfinal match between Marta Kostyuk and Anastasia Potapova at the BNP Paribas Open will also mark their third meeting on the women’s circuit. In both their previous meetings at the 2023 Birmingham Classic and Miami Open, the Russian player defeated Kostyuk and currently has a 2-0 lead in their H2H record.
