Recently, the former World No. 1 celebrated her 40th birthday. Her husband, Alexis Ohanian, also shared a beautiful picture of the couple, which had their followers in awe.

Alexis Ohanian shares an adorable picture

Serena has been married to the Reddit co-founder, Alexis Ohanian, since 2017. In September 2017, Williams welcomed her first baby girl, Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr., referred to as Olympia.

On the occasion of Serena’s birthday, Alexis took to Instagram to share a beautiful photo of the couple and expressed his gratitude for everything she has done. In the Instagram post, Ohanian referred to Williams as “incomparable.”

The duo are very active on social media and often share moments of their lives with their followers. The former World No. 1 is currently taking some rest and is recovering from his hamstring injury.

Serena Williams’ injury update

The tennis legend, Williams, withdrew from US Open 2021 due to a torn hamstring. She announced her decision before the commencement of the US Open through an Instagram post. She wrote, “After careful consideration and following the advice of my doctors and medical team, I have decided to withdraw from the US Open to allow my body to heal completely from a torn hamstring. New York is one of the most exciting cities in the world and one of my favorite places to play — I’ll miss seeing the fans but will be cheering everyone on from afar.”

In her professional career, Serena Williams has triumphed at 6 US Open titles, the last one being in 2014. In all, she has won 23 Grand Slam titles in her incredible career so far. The 40-year-old would be disappointed at being unable to participate in her home country. She’ll be hoping to make a strong comeback in the 2022 season and bag her record-breaking 24th Grand Slam.
