Iga Swiatek has been on a roll this season. At just 21, the Polish tennis star has reached the top of the WTA rankings and is putting on some eye-catching performances across tournaments. Moreover, she has already won six titles this year, including the French Open.
However, she had a disappointing campaign at the recently concluded Wimbledon Championships. Swiatek lost in the third round of the grass-court Grand Slam tournament against Alize Cornet. Her 37-match unbeaten run was finally broken by the Frenchwoman, who caused the upset of the tournament. Following this disappointment, the Polish star had a much-needed break from tennis.
