Genie Bouchard has been out of the tour for more than a year. However, the Canadian seems to be enjoying her time off-court. She has been posting her practice videos on social media lately. However, it is her off-court activities that are attracting the maximum eyeballs. The 28-year-old is currently in Coachella Valley, attending the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.

Genie Bouchard is attending the Coachella Valley Festival
Bouchard arrived in Coachella yesterday along with her twin sister, Beatrice Bouchard. The two attended Day 1 of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, being part of Shania Twain and Harry Styles’s performance, amongst others. Genie Bouchard took to her Instagram, giving a glimpse of her Day 1 at the festival.

However, more was yet to come. Today, the former World No. 5 took to her Instagram, giving a glimpse of Day 2 of the event. The former Wimbledon finalist uploaded a series of stories for the same.
In the first story, Bouchard posted a mirror selfie of herself wearing a pink floral body fit suit. She coupled her look with matching sunglasses, along with wrist wearables.
The second story featured the Bouchard sisters running on the street as the two admitted, “This is Coachella in a nutshell.”
In the third story. Genie gave different poses as she, along with her sister, headed to the event venue. She captioned the story, ‘Arriving Coachella’.
The last story uploaded by Genie Bouchard gave a view of the ongoing musical event.

Bouchard expected to return any time soon?
Genie Bouchard has been out of the tour for more than a year now. She last played at the WTA 250 Monterrey Open, losing in the first-round. Following the loss, she revealed that she had torn subscapularis in her right shoulder, for which she underwent surgery in June. The injury not only forced her to take a break from the new tournaments but from the remaining 2021 season.
