Eugenie Bouchard has been away from competitive action for a while now. Her last event came in 2021, after which she suffered a torn subscapularis on her right shoulder. However, the Canadian is back on the road to recovery.

Known to be frequently active on social media, Bouchard keeps her fans updated with posts and stories on Instagram. With a following over 2 million, she continues to vow fans ahead of her return.
Bouchard visits Cathedral Rock
The 28-year-old uploaded a photo on Instagram visiting Cathedral Rock. The place is one of the four major vortices with “feminine” energies. Her caption read, “Absorbing some vortex vibes.”

Cathedral Rock is located on the Sedona skyline, Arizona in the United States. Bouchard also posted information about the place which reads, “Where the energy enters the Earth – and is said to have introspective power that connects you to memories and past lives.”
Bouchard, who was ranked as high as No. 5 in the past, has fallen off the grid after various injury issues. She has been absent for over a year, dropping to No. 334 in the WTA rankings.

Will we see Eugenie Bouchard return to her peak?

After a splendid season in 2014, the Canadian has not been able to replicate the same form. This run included a Grand Slam final at Wimbledon losing to Petra Kvitova. In the same season, Bouchard also reached the semi-finals of the Australian and French Open.

While injuries have plagued her career, Bouchard has also dropped massively in consistency. After playing exhibition matches earlier this year, we could see her return for the hard court swing in the United States.
