Macci has worked with many young tennis stars who became world-beaters. One such player at his academy was, tennis star, Maria Sharapova. Recalling her prowess in the early days, the American praised her for having the best focus even at an age of 11.

“@MariaSharapova had the best focus and was in a bubble even at age 11. With that boxed checked naturally, I told her dad if she controls the center of the court, she will win on center court a lot! Although the 35-year-old retired back in 2020, she is still one of the most widely followed tennis stars. The former world number 1 is quite active on social media and keeps sharing her whereabouts with her fans.

Earlier this year in April, on the occasion of her 35th birthday, Sharapova surprised her fans by announcing her pregnancy. She took to her Instagram account and shared a picture of herself, flaunting the baby bump. Further, she wrote in the caption,
