Owing to her stature, Serena Williams, the 23-time grand slam champion, has friends in several sectors. In the entertainment industry, Williams is a close friend of Beyonce and has a special bond with Kim Kardashian.

Further, the American tennis legend is also good friends with her mother, Kris Jenner. Recently, she cheered for Kris’ upcoming endeavor on social media.

Serena Williams is looking forward to Jenner’s MasterClass

Kris Jenner, after receiving demands from a great deal of fans, recently signed up for performing a MasterClass. She informed her fans by tweeting, The internet has been asking for me to do a class on Masterclass for years. Well, I hope you’re ready. My class on MasterClass is coming this summer. Stay tuned for more updates very soon.”  To which an excited Williams responded by writing, “I’m staying tuned!”

In addition, David Rogier and Aaron Rasmussen’s MasterClass is an online education platform that works on a subscription basis. It provides students access to pre-recorded tutorials and lectures from experts in different fields.

Earlier, Serena also collaborated with the MasterClass to teach tennis. She gave tips and revealed the secrets of the sports. Also, apart from Williams and Jenner, many other famous entities, such as the basketball legend Stephen Curry and the American singer and songwriter Mariah Carey, have also partnered with the organization.

Williams’ comeback to the tour

After keeping out of the circuit for almost a year, the former World No.1 has resumed her journey on the tour. She is currently oiling her skills for the 2022 Wimbledon championship by playing in the grass courts of Eastbourne. Serena is currently playing in the doubles category of the WTA 500 tournament with Ons Jabeur.

She along with the Tunisian No.1 and the Madrid Open reigning champion, took down Sara Sorribes Tormo and Marie Bouzkova on Wednesday. They defeated the Spanish-Czech duo, 2-6 6-3 13-11.

Further, they are gearing up to tackle the 28-year-old Taiwanese Chan Hao-ching who was the doubles finalist of 2017 Wimbledon championship and Shuko Aoyama, the 34-year-old Japanese tennis ace who had a run till the semifinals last year. Even though Williams and Jabeur have splendid records, this pair might pose some serious threat to their run.
