Naomi Osaka has been getting back on the grid after she had a faceoff in the finals of the Miami Open 2022 against the current world no. 1, Iga Swiatek. She has always taken some time out for her interests and hobbies. The tennis player is an ardent follower of Harry Potter. And this was proved when she left most of the Potterheads in confusion after her trip to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Orlando.

Like every single Potterhead, Osaka feels associated with one house of Hogwarts. The question was, which one would she declare as her house? What one did not expect was her caption, “I spent the whole day trying to figure out which house I would be between Gryffindor or Slytherin”. Now all the Potterheads know how this could come out if someone states that in a conversation. Both the houses are exactly different and have students with very polar opposite personalities in the books and the movies. This had enhanced the mysterious personality of the player. Ultimately, she further made her anonymity clear and stated, “I don’t think people should know what I’m thinking. I’m hiding you from my thoughts.”

Osaka mostly keeps to herself during the tours. She has always put her game and mental well-being before everything. However, she had to go through the heckling incident during the Indian Wells against which she had raised her voice. The player got a lot of support from fellow players as well.

She improved her performance as compared to previous games and she reached the finals of the Miami Open 2022, defeating top players like Angelique Kerber, Danielle Collins, and Belinda Bencic along the way. Iga Swiatek reigned the Miami Open 2022 by defeating Osaka in straight sets. However, we have seen an incredible improvement in the Japanese player’s on-court performance.
