Sloane Stephens has a well-balanced life, both in tennis and personal life. The American tennis ace claimed her career highest ranking of World no.3 in 2018 and took her long love-filled relationship with Jozy Altidore to the next level in 2022.

Stephens and the soccer star tied the knot this year in January. Following that, she returned to the tour and reached the quarterfinal in the French Open. Currently, she is gearing up for her second US Open title and, with some time in hand, she decided to catch up with her fans.
Sloane Stephens’ plans
To interact with her fans in a more personal manner, Stephens chose to answer a few questions via a question-and-answer session on her Instagram stories. While answering a fan question about starting her family, Stephens addressed her plans by responding, “At some point soon. I am preparing for the future.”
Thereafter she added, “I am freezing my eggs this off season. It’s something I have always wanted to do. I don’t feel like i should have to choose between my career and starting a family.”
Further, the right-handed tennis ace also admitted to keeping the options of adoption and surrogacy open. She wrote, “I have always said I want to carry a baby, have a surrogate and adopt. I want a lot of kids, but will see what happens.”
“I am blessed to have the resources and funds to create a future I want for myself and my family,” Stephens said about having the option of freezing her eggs. Speaking about her game, the 2018 Canadian Masters runner up, after facing an initial round defeat at this year’s event, is ready to jump onto the hard courts of Cincinnati.

The American packed her bags after failing to outclass the former world no.3 Maria Sakkari at Toronto. Now she will try to sustain a deeper run at the Cincinnati Masters and gain some valuable match practice before the US Open.
Who is Stephens’ first opponent?
The former Roland Garros finalist will lock horns with French tennis ace Alizé Cornet in the opening round of the WTA 1000 event. She will meet the former world no.11 for the second time in the upcoming match.
