Serena Williams is one of the most decorated players of all time. In a career of more than 20 years, she has risen to fame like no one else. However, after the birth of her daughter, it is Olympia who has taken over Serena’s social media handles.
Williams is regularly spotted putting up Instagram stories of her daughter Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr. The stories are a combination of her on the tennis court, on a day out, playing with her toys, etc.

Recently, Williams uploaded an Instagram story of her playing with Olympia. The two were engaged in a battle involving the Rock’Em Sock’Em Robots game.
Williams and Olympia’s boxing match
In the Instagram story, Olympia is seen setting up her boxing ring toy. The mother-daughter duo starts playing the boxing match, with Olympia saying, “I’m beating you.”
The two indulge in a cute match, with Olympia excitedly saying, “Please win, please win.” However, Serena turns out to be the winner, teasing Olympia, “Got you!!”

The story ends with Serena picking up her phone and Olympia resetting the toy for another match.

Serena Williams 2020-21 season
The 40-year-old American started her previous at the WTA 250 ASB Classic in Auckland. She went on to win the title, beating fellow American Jessica Pegula in the finals. However, she saw an early exit in the Australian Open and the tournaments that followed.
Getting back to form, she went to reach the semi-finals of US Open 2020. But it was short-lived as she again saw an early exit in the Roland Garros 2020.

She started her 2021 at the WTA 500 Yarra Valley Classic, losing to top seed Ashleigh Barty in the semifinals. Improving her 2020 performance, Williams reached the semifinals of the Australian Open 2021. However, her run was cut short as she once again experienced early exits in the tournaments that followed. She also saw a 4th round exit in Roland Garros.

The 7 time-champion entered Wimbledon looking to win her 8th title there. However, little did she know that her 2021 Wimbledon run will become a barrier for the rest of her 2021 season. Facing Aliaksandra Sasnovich in the first round, Williams suffered a hamstring injury. The injury forced her to not only retire from the tournament but also from the remaining season.

On 8th December 2021, Serena announced her withdrawal from the 2022 Australian Open, the event at which fans anticipated her comeback. Even though fans around the world were disappointed by this announcement, they are still hopeful to Serena back on the tour soon.
