Tennis sensation Ons Jabeur has sparked health concerns at the US Open as she battles what she suspects might be the flu. In a candid conversation, she revealed that she had taken a slew of medications provided by the tournament’s medical staff.

Though she initially mentioned having the flu, she appeared uncertain about the nature of her ailment. It remains unclear whether Jabeur has undergone a coronavirus test to definitively rule out the possibility of a COVID-19 infection. Her comment, “I’m a zombie because I have a flu,” portrays the impact of her illness and raises questions about the overall health conditions of athletes participating in the US Open.

“I’m taking a lot of medicine,” she said, adding that she “basically took every medication” the U.S. Open doctors have. “I think I got the flu or something,” she further continued.

With her third-round match on the horizon, Jabeur’s health remains a critical aspect to monitor as the tennis world watches closely. However, she is not the only player to have raised health concerns.
