Fortunately, Daria Abramowicz has been there to come to her rescue as Swiatek conquers the court. And since 2019, Abramowicz has been a constant on the World No.1’s team. However, recently the famous psychologist was floored by the 23-time Grand Slam champion’s interview about her life after tennis.

Serena Williams’ tennis journey is nothing short of inspiring. The American tennis legend crushed numerous obstacles to establish the foundation of her now-celebrated legacy. Recently she engaged in a candid talk with The New York Times on the occasion of the upcoming launch of her documentary, “In the Arena: Serena Williams.” The former World No. 1 talked about her evolution off the court after retirement. From launching her venture capital firm to support women, and Wyn beauty, to entering her motherhood again. And finally, her love for tennis!

Williams’ flawless and honest answers got to Swiatek’s psychologist, as she took to Instagram to appreciate her. Abramowicz shared a story with the 23-time Grand Slam champion’s interview audio, The Interview: Serena Williams’sNext Challenge? The Rest of Her Life. Captioning it with “👌👌” emojis. As Williams climbs up another step to challenge herself. Swiatek is up for the Grass Swing at London, to aim for another title.

Daria Abramowicz’s presence has made a great difference in Swiatek’s game. On one occasion the former revealed how she falls back on casual talks most of the time, to support the current World No.1. And sometime back Switaek also praised her psychologist for her contribution to her success. She admits to growing emotionally as she navigates through her tennis journey.

Iga Swiatek recounts her growth through a vulnerable moment

Despite being a defending champion during the French Open 2021 edition, Swiatek went into an emotional whirlpool due to excessive expeditions. The Pole lost her quarterfinals against Maria Sakkari on the clay court. And what followed was nothing short of a nightmare. She recounted, “I remember I couldn’t sleep and everything,” three years after her match. Swiatek further explained the root cause of all the turmoil, ” ’cause — for sure, being the defending champion, especially after a Grand Slam where you weren’t really expected to do anything, it wasn’t really easy.”

Though the champion has claimed all three French Open titles since her 2021 defeat, it was during this moment the Pole admits to growing up emotionally, as she understood the importance of accepting the situation as it is. But there is no need to worry, as Iga Swiatek has found a solution. She said, “Now I have some solutions to overcome these kinds of issues”.  

It is this kind of situation that necessitates rallying all the support behind the players. And certainly Abramowicz, along with the team, must have helped her through this.
