Today, at the French Open second round, Swiatek won the first set, 6-0, which is called ‘bagel’ in tennis. In total, she has 15 bagels this season, as of 26 May 2022. According to the statistics of WTA, Serena Williams won the most number (25) of sets 6-0 in a single season, and that was in 2013. In 2003 and 2005, Kim Clijsters had the most number of bagels, i.e. 13 and 15, respectively. Then Martina Hingis held this record on two separate occasions, namely 2000 and 2001, and in both of those years, she won 6-0, 17 and 16 times, respectively. Belarusian tennis player Victoria Azarenka also had this record in 2012, when she had 15 bagels.

Now, Swiatek is 8th on this list and if she beats her next opponent and wins a set by 6-0, she could move up to fifth.
