In the end, it was that same old story! After starting the match on a positive note, Coco Gauff let it slip midway during her encounter against Iga Swiatek at the Italian Open. As a result, she succumbed to her 10th loss against the Polish star in 11 outings. Additionally, the semifinal match between them wasn’t short on controversy. As if the argument with the chair umpire during the encounter was not enough, Gauff caught eyeballs with her shocking act against an Iga Swiatek fan.

A fan named Sari is a huge supporter of Swiatek and often shares messages on Twitter in support of her. However, on this occasion, the fan went a step ahead and criticized Gauff during the encounter. As a result, Coco Gauff blocked Sari on Twitter, which barred them from viewing her posts and following her.

Taking to Twitter, Sari shared a snapshot of Gauff blocking them and wrote, “I was expecting it. Not that I said sth bad about her, cus I didn’t, I just know Coco blocks for even less. I wasn’t even her follower so we move on.”
